Because good health and good flavors should be celebrated!

Morgan's Clean Living Mimosa

On a recent trip to a well known health spa, I had a consultation with a certified health educator.  I asked her to discuss with me foods that would provide immune support and also support overall health and wellness.  While we talked a lot about propoer hydration and balanced diet and, of course, nut butters (almond, not peanut if you please) one of the things that she felt most passionately about was Aloe juice.

Apparently drinking aloe juice heals you from the inside out, improves your immune system, provides micro nutrients and generally supports good health and particularly digestive health.  And who couldn't use that?

Take two cans Jayone Brand Pomegranate-flavored Aloe Juice and one bottle sparkling white wine.  Combine approximately 2.5 ounces of pomegranate/aloe juice with 3 ounces Champagne.  Makes 6 cocktails

Brooksie's Stay Young Pomegranate Martini

It's hard to read a magazine or watch Oprah and NOT hear about the power of antioxidants.  Most significantly, antioxidants are known for their ability to combat aging, and who doesn't want to slow that train down!  So let's put a little of that magic in our cocktail!

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, 2 ounces of PINK vodka (my personal favorite) and 2 ounces of Minute Maid's Pomegranate Lemonade.  Shake and serve in a martini glass.
